Margaret Sullivan is a columnist at The Washington Post and an award-winning author. From the time she was a child, she wanted to be a journalist. In 2000, she took a job with the Post while still an undergraduate at Georgetown University. She covered health care and other issues for the paper while earning her master's degree in journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism
That year, the Post also published her first book, a biography of former Vice President Dan Quayle.
