Luigi Luca Cavalli-Sforza is a geneticist at the University of Utah. He was co-author, with his brother Paolo Cavalli-Sforza, of the seminal Human Evolution: A Genetic View (Princeton University Press, 1981), winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award for Science Book of the Year. He has received honorary doctorates from Oxford and Cambridge Universities, and is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He also received the Pulitzer Prize for Annals of Human Genetics in 1992.
