Linford Christie MBE (born 17 November 1965) is a former, British track and field athlete who competed in the 100 metres and 200 metres. As a sprinter he was world champion in 1993 and European champion in 1992. He was also the world record holder over 200 m from 1991 to 1995. His personal best for the 100 m is 10.03 seconds, set on 13 July 1992 at the Olympic Stadium, Los Angeles
