Latoya was born and raised in the small town of Sevierville, Tennessee. At a young age Latoya had dreams of one day becoming a rap artist. In middle school she began writing poetry and writing about her life experiences. In high school she began experimenting with different sounds
In college her life took a new direction when she received a full scholarship to attend Western Kentucky University. While at WKU, Latoya began to pursue her passion of music and began to write songs that were inspired by her personal experiences. She also started a project called The R&B Project which is a compilation of songs that she has written throughout the years.
Currently she is working on her first album called "Latoya."
