Baroness Emma Martina Montagu (Lady Dilke) (1864-1920) was one of the most prominent feminists of her time. She was an English writer and activist who championed numerous causes in favor of women's suffrage, birth control, and peace. She became well known in England in the late 1880s, when she became involved in the controversial Feminist & Women's Suffrage Committee, which campaigned to give women the right to vote in England.
