Kiran Ahluwalia is an award-winning Indian author of non-fiction books on topics ranging from history to current affairs. She is also a columnist and a commentator on various TV and radio channels. She has contributed to book reviews as well as articles in several leading newspapers such as Times of India, The Hindu and Hindustan Times. Her first book 'A History of the World' was published in 2002 and her second book 'The Goldsmiths of India' was published in 2006
