Kelly has been writing since the age of four, when she started a fan fiction website about a comic book superhero named "Evoli." Her first professional sale was a short story in a romance anthology in 2003, and her first published novel was a dark fantasy in 2005. Kelly is best known for her work on the critically acclaimed "Ms. Marvel" comic book series, most recently writing the most recent arc, "Civil War II." Her other works have appeared in various anthologies and titles such as Marvel's "Black Panther" and "A-Force," BOOM! Studios' "Mystery Girl," and IDW Publishing's "Nancy Drew." Kelly lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two young daughters.
