Kelly Jacqueline is the author of several novels, including The Dark Road (Tor Teen, 2008), which won the Young Adult Library Services Association's 2008 Michael L. Printz Award; and The Chieftain's Son (Scholastic, 2009), which won the 2010 Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Young Adult Novel. Her work has appeared in "The Horn Book Magazine" and "Booklist" among other publications. She was also a finalist for the 2007 National Book Foundation's Young People's Literature Award
