Katalin Bator-Hos is a London-based Hungarian actress and writer. She completed her BA in performance studies at the Central European University in Budapest and went on to do MA in Acting at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She made her acting debut at the age of sixteen. Katalin's first book, "Complications", was published by Bloomsbury Publishing in 2010, followed by "The Sound of Music" (2012), "The Perfume Seller" (2015) and "The Widows Club" (2017)
Her books have been translated into many languages including Hungarian, German, Chinese, Italian, Polish, Russian and Spanish. She has also written two plays for children - "The Magician's Apprentice" (2015) and "The Magnificent Cheese Caper!" (2017).
