Karin Kallmaker is a German writer and former psychotherapist. She has written over thirty novels and more than forty short stories, and her books have been translated into fifty languages. Kallmaker grew up in the Black Forest and studied German literature and psychology at the University of Tübingen. She earned her degree in 1994
