johd di lemme is a photographer and photo-editor. He was born in germany and lives in hamburg. He had his first contact with photography at the age of 12, when he bought his first camera and tried to learn how to use it. At the age of 18, he bought his first digital camera and started to take photos of his friends and surroundings. Since then he has been working on his own photos and has done some film portraits. His work has been published in several magazines such as "minitag" (germany), "Diesel" (germany), "Bike" (germany) and "Kiwi" (new zealand). Furthermore, he had some exhibitions in Hamburg and Berlin. He is working as a graphic designer for a company called ulli zöllner who is producing cover designs for scientific journals. For the last 4 years johd di lemme has been working on his own photo projects and has published two books: "pixelwelt" (2011) and "tortenwelt" (2012). In 2014 he published the photo book "sabato-friday", which contains portraits from different german cities, as well as some travel photography from new zealand. In 2016, johd di lemme published a new book with photos from germany called "fotografie". It is a photo book for kids about analog photography with analog cameras from the sixties
It contains 22 pages with 20 pictures per page, which are made by using modern digital cameras. The pictures are printed with a vintage process called screen printing. Every picture is hand drawn on a piece of fabric that is stretched on wooden frames, which are then put into a print press that prints them onto paper that has been coated by vegetable ink.
