Jim Fergus is a British journalist and author. He was born in London and studied English at university before starting a career in journalism with the Sunday Times and The Guardian. Jim has travelled the world as a foreign correspondent, and is an expert on Cuba and American politics. His most recent book, Inside the Minds: The FBI's Elite Serial Crimes Unit, won the 2012 Sherlock Award for Best True Crime Book. He also writes on travel and has contributed to publications such as National Geographic Traveller and Conde Nast Traveller.
