Jagdish Joghee is a leading name in Indian contemporary fiction writing. He was one of the youngest recipients of the Sahitya Akademi Award (1997) for his novel "Shaheed". His other works include "The Other Side of Silence", "No-One Else" and "Nasca." He is the recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2002 for his novel, "Nasca". Jagdish lives in Rajasthan with his wife, two children and two dogs.
