Isabel Yosito was born in Japan and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from the University of Washington as a speech language pathologist and went on to earn a Masters of Arts degree from Central Washington University. In 2013, she graduated from the University of Minnesota with a master's degree in counseling psychology. Her first novel, Friendship, was published by HarperCollins in 2011
A second novel, The Pathfinders, is due out in January 2014. A third novel is also underway, as is a young adult fantasy trilogy about a girl who discovers her true identity as an immortal.
