Dr. Irwin Redlener is the founder of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Pediatric Emergency Department Network, a national pediatric emergency medicine training program, and was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the National Response Team for the 2009 H1N1 flu pandemic. He has worked with the Clinton Foundation to lead a national movement on developing effective solutions to childhood obesity.
