Ian Colquhoun is a British actor and director, best known for his portrayal of the character "Gavin MacLeod" in the Channel 4 comedy-drama series, Father Ted. He has guest starred in numerous other television series and films, including Blackadder The Third, Spaced and The League of Gentlemen. He also had a recurring role as "David" in the crime drama series Taggart, and starred in the three-part children's fantasy comedy-drama Dream Team, which aired on Channel 4 in 1997.
