Harry V. Harrison is the author of the Hugo Award-winning series, The Humanx Commonwealth, as well as numerous other novels and articles. He has been a semi-finalist for the Nebula Award and a finalist for both the Hugo and Locus Awards for Best Novel, and has been on the Nebula ballot on ten other occasions.
