Russell Wakefield was born in 1967 and raised in the North Georgia mountains. He and his wife, Sheryl, have three daughters and a son. While serving in the U.S. Navy, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Arts degree from Florida State University
After his military career, Russell established a business as a financial advisor and became a certified public accountant. He is currently living in Georgia with his wife and children.
