Grant Hill (born June 21, 1970) is an American professional basketball player and one of the best shooting guards of all time. He currently plays for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Hill was a star basketball student at Oak Hill Academy and helped lead his team to three consecutive state championships. He then attended the University of Connecticut where he played for coach Jim Calhoun and helped lead them to two Final Fours and won the Naismith College Player of the Year award in his senior year
