Gianna Perada Carini is an Italian writer who got her first job as a translator in Milan in 1995. She earned her Ph.D. in literary history, in which she investigated the relationship between English literary modernism and Italian popular culture, in 2003 at University of Rome “La Sapienza”, where she was also a research fellow in 2014/2015. Besides her interest in literature, Gianna is also an avid reader of philosophy and self-help literature, with a particular interest in psychology
