Gene Kelly was one of the most famous and successful dancers of all time. He began dancing at the age of 3, and made his Broadway debut at 5. His first film was Anchors Aweigh at the age of 17. He appeared in over 100 films, including An American in Paris, Singing in the Rain, On the Town, The Band Wagon, My Fair Lady, The Owl and the Pussycat, On the Town (1953), and The Four Musketeers (1973)
He was awarded an Emmy for his work on television's The Gene Kelly Show (1956). He received one of the highest honors of his profession when he was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
