Fatima Faisal is a Karachi based writer who has written extensively on women's issues, health, education and culture for various publications. A graduate of the University of Karachi, she began her career as a journalist writing for the Urdu daily Nawa-i-Waqt. She now works with Pakistan's leading women's magazine, Women Living, as its editor. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with an MA in Development Administration, Fatima has also worked as a consultant for the United Nations Development Program in Pakistan
