Advice for writers: Emlyn Chand explains that it's important to take time off to write when you're not working on your book: "If you're not taking time to do what you love, you're going to end up hating what you're doing."
As a writer, he says it's important to know that even though you feel like you've written the end of your book, that doesn't mean that it's done: "You can revisit those scenes as many times as you want as long as you've got enough information for the next draft."
When asked for advice for writers who are having trouble getting started on their book or who are struggling with motivation, Emlyn Chand says: "It has nothing to do with my ability to write, but I don't worry about people who say they can't write because there's no one around them who is writing."
