In 2007, she received a nomination from the International Thriller Writers for their Best First Novel award. In 2008, her book "A Good Death" won a Shamus Award. In 2009 she won a Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award in the category of Best Fiction Book of the Year.
In 2010 she received a nomination from the International Thriller Writers for their Thriller Mastermind Award for Best Novel of the Year for her novel "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest".
