Douglas John Hall is a writer of fiction and non-fiction, and his many books have been translated into many foreign languages. He is also the author of over 300 short stories, most of which have been collected in several anthologies. Several of these have been nominated for the World Fantasy Awards, and one was a finalist for the International Horror Guild Award. His fiction has been reviewed in publications such as The Washington Post Book World, On Spec, and Realms of Fantasy, and he has been a judge in the Bram Stoker Award for Long Fiction
