Dorthe Binkert is a writer, speaker and life coach from Denmark. She has been working as a consultant for companies, organizations and individuals since 2009. Her articles have been published in leading newspapers both in Denmark and abroad. In April 2016 she started to write a blog about the fight for gender equality, where she actively discusses the gender pay gap. In 2018 she started to write a blog about the fight for gender equality. She regularly writes articles on this subject for Danish media, including Politiken and The Copenhagen Post. In 2018 she spoke at TEDx Denmark on how to make the world a better place to live. In 2017 she wrote an article for Politiken for which she was invited to give a keynote speech at TEDx Copenhagen conference about the future of work. In 2018 she spoke at TEDx Copenhagen on how to make the world a better place to live. She regularly participates in interactive sessions with delegates from around the world, which are held during the annual Women Deliver conferences since 2015.
Her sessions are called Creating Change: Through Empowerment, Education & Advocacy Dorthe speaks regularly about gender equality both in Denmark and abroad. She joined Clare Fowler of Tesco in October 2017 on their Women's Economic Security Roadshow (WES Roadshow) tour (with Clare Fowler), focusing on female entrepreneurship and women's economic security, specifically women entrepreneurs' challenges in getting funding, access to markets and access to capital markets for their start-up business ideas, based on research interviews with start-ups nationwide (2015-2017).
