Dee Snider is an American rock musician, singer, songwriter and record producer, best known as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Twisted Sister. He has been a major figure in heavy metal since the mid-1970s. In 1987 Snider played a leading role in a VH1 program titled Rock and Roll! The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame also inducted Snider into their Hall of Fame alongside Twisted Sister. Snider is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Twisted Sister, and was inducted with the band into the VH1 Rock Honors Hall of Fame in 2007.
