Constantine Pleshakov is a Bulgarian-born writer and journalist. He was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has been living in the United States since 1989, first in Chicago and then in New York City. He has been a regular contributor to the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal Europe and other international publications
In addition to his work as a journalist, he has written several novels including The Art of the Con, The Harrowing of Hell and The Black Book.
