Christoph Wolff is a German-American author, who is also the director of the Berliner Festspiele. He was born in Wiesbaden in 1959, where he grew up. When he was fourteen, he moved to West Germany, where he attended elementary school in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, high school in Frankfurt am Main and university in Düsseldorf, where he studied law. Since 1994 Christoph Wolff has been director of Berlin's Komische Oper (Comic Opera). He has also produced several cabarets.
