Cara Lockwood was born in the southeastern United States. She spent her childhood years moving around the country, living in small towns and big cities, before settling down in the South. Cara was first introduced to writing at age six, when her first short stories were published in a local newspaper. She’s published two award-winning novels, Cute Little Zombie (2011), and The Other Side (2015)
