2 Quotes & Sayings By Bela Kun

Béla Kun (Hungarian: Kun Béla; 16 November 1885 – 24 February 1919) was a prolific and controversial Hungarian writer, playwright, poet, painter, architect and politician. He was born in Budapest. Although he is best known as the leader of the left-wing "Revolutionary Hungary" following the overthrow of the Habsburg Empire in 1918, he also wrote poetry and essays on philosophy and was a proponent of socialism and atheism. He is also regarded as a martyr by those who believe that his abortive attempt to create a Communist utopia in Hungary was an important precursor to Soviet rule.
