Annette Messager, a Belgian avant garde artist, has been living and working in France since the late 60s. She is a well known artist who has produced many pieces of her own work. However, her style of art is a combination of multiple art forms and mediums which makes it unique and difficult to categorize. She has been creating art since childhood and started exhibiting her work in 1967 at the age of 18
Her works have been sold all over the world and have been featured in many exhibitions around the world. In 2011, she created a collection entitled "The Hounds" which was inspired by two of her dogs that were killed by a lightning strike.
