Amy Goodman is co-anchor of Democracy Now! . She has been a journalist for more than 25 years, working in radio, print, and television. Goodman received the DuPont Columbia Journalism Award in 2002. She began her professional radio career at age 19 at KQED in San Francisco, California, where she won awards for her coverage of the conflict in El Salvador
She went on to work at several public radio stations in California before being hired by WBAI New York City. Goodman's current program is one of the most critically acclaimed programs on the Pacifica Network.
