Alicia Silverstone is an American actress, author, and animal right activist. She has worked as a model and a writer. Her first book, The Kind Diet, was published in 2010. She published a follow-up diet book, The Kind Mama, in 2011
In 2013 she appeared as a guest on Letterman's Late Show to talk about the benefits of raw milk. In 2014 she wrote the children's book, The Kind Mama Goes Vegan, about her vegan lifestyle for her two young sons.
