Alexandra Bullen is a writer and teacher, born in the Australian Outback. She moved to Canberra with her family at the age of 15. Alexandra has been a journalist, freelance writer and corporate writer. She has written for the Australian Women's Weekly, Good Weekend Magazine and Woman's Day Magazine
Her first novel, I Walk Alone won the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards in 2002 and was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award. She teaches creative writing to students at various universities and colleges, including La Trobe University, Monash University and Griffith University.
