Akmad Kadyrov was born on the 19th of August in 1969, in a small village of Chechnya, in a family of the Zayid tribe. In 1991, together with his family, he escaped from Chechnya to exile in Azerbaijan. In 1994, he started his higher education at the Faculty of Law at the Azerbaijan State University. In 1996 he graduated from the Faculty of Law and started working as an assistant to a high-ranking judge of Azerbaijan's Court of Appeals
In 1998 he graduated from The Faculty of Law and received his Candidate Degree. He got acquainted with political and military issues and gained wide experience in various spheres: legislative activities, judicial work and legislative drafting. He obtained his PhD degree in law and headed the department for legal and international issues at the National Assembly for five years.
